Executive Director The Executive Director is the driving force behind the Mt. Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce's mission to empower businesses and foster community pride and growth. With an extensive background in communications and marketing and experience working with membership organizations, Brittni has a passion for serving the local community, building connections and supporting businesses. She leads the Chamber with dedication, vision, and a commitment to serve. As the Executive Director, Brittni is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Chamber's operations, including strategic planning, member relations, program development, and financial management. She is a dynamic leader known for her enthusiasm, collaborative spirit and ability to bring people together. She excels at building partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, and community organizations to create impactful initiatives that drive economic growth and enhance the quality of life for residents. Brittni's goals for the Mt. Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce include emerging as a vital hub for commerce, connectivity, and economic development in our region, as well as making a lasting difference in our community. Brittni is a native of Welch, Texas, a small town (population 150) that often reminds her of a smaller Mt. Vernon. She and her husband, Jason, made their home in Mt. Vernon in 2014, and they now have two young boys, Briggs and Breyer, who you will probably see in tow around town. |
